Yeaaah wanted to get on this and make a BNHA oc because gosh it’s a fun universe. I have plans for another one, but this boy was the first idea I got fleshed out. Sorry this is so rough, I just wanted to get this down before getting caught in other projects.
Kazuo Reid
Hero name- Fright Night
Quirk- Sludge Blood/ Regeneration+pain tolerance
Age- 18
Gender- M
Height- 6′8
Extra- Incredibly flexible since all organs/tissue/ligements/etc in his body are made of the black sludge blood
Mixed race (Mother from Japan, Father from America)
Kaz was born into a bad situation, his mother having the Sludge Blood quirk but no way to regenerate or deal with the pain. When she gave birth to Kaz, the extreme stress caused her to get sick from her own quirk. Kaz’s father left due to constant paranoia of people knowing about his regeneration quirk, figuring leaving them behind was better then getting unwanted attention.
Kaz ended up needing to skip school to work and take care of his mother, which ended up getting him held back multiple times.
His quirk started to manifest young, the mix of his mother and father causing his metabolism to sky rocket and give him a skeletal appearance. This made him incredibly shy about both his appearance and quirk. His main quirk being Sludge Blood, which is just his own blood made into malleable tendrils he can use as weapon, but this means using a wound or bursting his own skin to create an exit. This doesn’t hurt much, but the reactions of disgust from other people made him very hesitant to show anyone, or defend himself.
When he does use his abilities, he wears out quite easily. Needing to eat a large amount before or after a fight to keep from passing out.
He’s used to constant teasing and name calling, so he’s not one to speak up or approach people. He tries to distance himself from his appearance as much as he can, showing kindness and gentleness whenever possible. He originally didn’t want a hero name having to do with anything scary, but was eventually forced to settle on Fright Night. His main goal still is to make enough money to help his sickly mother.
