Ah, the simple days of childhood, when everything could easily been fit into a straight forward definition of black and white, wrong and right. And then, the horrifying truths of life began to come to light, and not everything was so simple as we thought being young.

I imagined myself in this image, because in my story I go through something similar as a puppy and then come back to see how it was.

For anyone still wondering, the kid on the left is Daiten as a memory. The carefree childhood dreaming of adventures and wonder, swords and chivalry. But the future rarely stays true to those childhood dreams and often the perils and hardships, war and conflicts of the the real world can risk breaking you. So it's important to remember to stay true to your heart and always remember what it is you are fighting for, as when there is nothing else, that will help you to press on.

The way you captured the raw emotion in this is amazing. He grew up wanting to wield a sword and fighting in battles to save others, but it's dawned on him how much of a toll his fulfilled childhood dream has taken.
