I hate to correct you on this but if you read the dialogue in panels one and two, it's pretty clear that this thing is her will. Well... clear to me I guess. Sorry.

Oh man. I would so enjoy seeing an arc carried out with the threat brought to fruition. So much carnage could happen. And then it destroys all the good guys, too. Then ... Well. I dunno. Retcon it into a hallucination brought on by swamp gas or something. XD

That would be cool, but I'd need one hell of a writer who could write me out of a galactic threat level scenario. I mean, without the help of deus-ex machina of course (ie. War of the Worlds).
