To stay by the side of someone you care for in hard times...

and hopefully to get that same respect back in return..

In a way this is me. She has the same flipped hair in the front. My hair is also short like that and straight. (when permed xD) I also chose a dog/person because dogs are the top symbol for loyalty. Also, how no matter what you do to them they'll still love you. (Unless it's EXTREME cruelty, but even then sometimes...)
