To continue on with my second of the series of old school Hanna-Barbera fan work i am doing, i decided to draw the eponymous cat and dog duo of their very first series Ruff and Reddy. Of course this was Bill and Joe's first ever series after leaving MGM following the end of the original run of the theatrical Tom and Jerry shorts in 1957, as well as the closure of their cartoon division the same year. This little show ended up paving the way for H-B to become a television giant for over forty years, even as dated as it is it still has the distinction of starting a legacy in animation that still holds to this day.
Needless to say, even with it's age i still find it a very good show.
