...i'll have to come back on this painting, it's been a nightmare to make and i hate the pose of the character. but there's thing in this pic i'm proud of. so... it was an intresting attempt at making a >furry painting. for once.

yep, it has to do with the movement i do with the arm, by contrast of the movement i do with just one hand so the drawing fits on a tablet/A4 sheet. it's THE biggest difference.
for that i should reallyfind another pose, something with shapes that would look less boring for a large format drawing. it's not like i have often the occasion to do it but indeed, it makes all the difference.
just like with a picture's resolution - the larger a paper/canvas is the deeper it is possible to dig into details.
