For some reason I just couldn't capture just how cute this guy turned out. The commissioner asked for brighter green eyes for him to be mounted with, and he ended up when I got the pelt in to be one of the most plush and big coyotes I've worked with yet. He's so huggable and I hope he gets a bunch of pets at his home. It turns out this guy is actually a wedding gift! I hope they enjoy him :D

He wasn't killed just for fur. A lot of the pelts I get are second hand from tanneries and are more or less going to be used for scraps.. That or they have a lot of issues with them. I try to make sure that they aren't going to go to waste.
Trust me I'm one of the biggest animal lovers out there, I'd never want anything killed just to be killed. I'm glad though that I can preserve them how I can so they can be appreciated even in death.
