Just another picture of the guy who's going off to his new home tomorrow. The camera really can't capture how this guy turned out, I really really was proud of him. He's one of the biggest and most plush coyotes I've worked on, and the fact that he's a wedding gift just makes me so happy. He looks so comfy there I felt bad putting him down into the box.
This guy was also a rush order... I have no idea how but I managed to get him done within a week!

I've been fussing with taxidermy for like... over seven years to be honest xD It's been a long and trying road. But there's always more room to improve and learn, don't give up on it, I bet you can do it :D Everyone has their own skills and talents, it just takes time.
And usually I build them up with clay and liners, though bondo is always a good sturdy method. I'm partial to my clay though, and liners have been breaking off forms so I've heard from other people's mounts, so I've just been using clay myself.
