I'd by lying if I said I went into Idle Tentacles and expected to be doing detailed backgrounds for it. But I'd also be lying if I said I didn't hate blank backgrounds in panels. So... I guess this is what I'm going with now.
Incidentally, one of the first comic concepts I came up with for Herbert and Carlisle, and the first one where Carlisle actually got a full face and body.
