Okay, i did not expect this to look this good. Originally was going to just lineart and flat color it. But a lot of you loved the sketch and I didn't want to lose that feel. So I kept the sketch and made a layer over it, then colored it in with a light opacity brush. Was going to leave it as that but something in my head told me to try and shade it in. I never done shades before and surprisingly it worked out. I then used a blur box to fix it up a bit and it surprisingly worked out as well. It has a heavenly calm feel to it.
So with that said and done, let the FEELS commence. XD

Yes, hence the quotes. They were opponents to the main cast, which we've seen before, such as in the otherworld tournament.
If anything that episode's end underscored how very serious this tournament is; it's not just some fight and the losers will be erased. Now everyone knows, everyone has seen how high the stakes are. At least they each got their own episode in the previous tournament, where they could have a one-on-one fight with the main cast. (Rabbit fans were not so lucky. Hi Sorrel... bye Sorrel.)

No, I hear ya. It's the canine fans I feel for, they lose two wolves in this latest episode with very little characterization. I am quietly confident that we'll see them return. At least as part of a happy ending, but more hopefully as allies. I think it's pretty obvious now that SOMETHING is up with the erasures; they're building up to a big reveal and possibly an entire new arc.
They'll be back.
In fact given Bergamo's character arc, I think he might simply have to take Sidra's job. Sidra (who's not a bad guy, but to nice for his job) can take Roh's job and Roh (Whom I find amusing, but who's clearly pretty incompetent) can become their butler/janitor. (for the lulz)
Bergamo showed that he cared about his own universe and the survival of the multiverse in general and he's lived the rough life surviving in his third world universe. I think as a G.o.D. he'd be capable of doing what needs to be done without being cruel or petty about it.
I could see them being wished back, Bergamo gets the job. (Maybe one of the more skilled gods (Liquir?) can consent to train him for it. And when we one day see U9 again it's doing really well.
Actually I think that might totally happen. I mean the universes'll get wished back. (Even if it was merely to get back chars like Champa or even Gowas.) But because Bergamo (who had that character arc of being passionate about his universe and all the other universes survival) gets the G.o.D. job next time U9 is shown it won't be a dump anymore.
Honestly... I'm a bit more sad Majora amounted to little but a gimmick char to be beaten by a shoe. He looks so cool! I wanted him to at least last and perform well in the mid-section of the tourney. (Which FYI, I don't even think will play out all the way. Something'll hit the fan out of left field I am thinking.)

I agree. Bergamo was a very interesting character who valued his universe's life and respected the gods, even pleading for the rule to be erased removed from the tournament. Him being a god of destruction would be an interesting idea, but then what would happen to his siblings? G.o.D. can live for a long time and his brothers being mere mortals...that would be sad. Still, the trio de dangers are so unique I wish they weren't erased along with universe 9. Least they had the spot light for a while. I too wished that Shosa and Majora wasn't kicked off so easily as well. They seemed like very interesting characters and I don't believe they got any backstory or any development.
I am honestly very disappointed with Goku. I knew he wasn't smart and can get carried away, but this is going to the extreme. Not only does he not care about the universes being erased, but he is using this as an excuse to fight other strong people. He put his own universe, his family, his friends, and his teachers on the line for his own selfish gain and that makes me see Goku in a different light. From someone who is willing to protect his loved ones to being greedy and selfish. He'd better use those Super Dragon Balls to wish, if not all the universes, the fighters, G.o.D, and Supreme kais from the tournament.

Well in Goku's defense, it was ZENO who thought there 'where to many universes'. And who's already destroyed six in a temper tantrum once apperently. (Could also have to do with the angels, hard to call.) Goku reminding Zeno of the tournament kept these eight universes from just suddenly blinking out of existence. But yeaaah... definitely still see your point. Though I do think he'll wish everyone back. Actually I more hope that before he does some shit hits the fan at the tourney that'll teach ZENO a lesson somehow. Because otherwise all those universes could still be destroyed on a whim.
And aaah Majora... I especially had high hopes for Majora, because he was in the opening and he looks so cool. I thought he'd have stuff like kung fu nerve strikes, and that maybe like Beerus he could strike someone at a weakpoint to knock them out of a transformation. (If he was able to do that he'd have been a legit threat against U7's strongest fighters (And whilst I would have expected him to go down still, he might have had a great showing.) I also don't think it was that weird to expect. Given Beerus and Liquir (And several other G.o.D.'s) it's not like anthro's CAN'T be powerful in this universe. Nor would it be that odd to expect these universes to be able to throw out a FEW top level fighters.
But nah... sadly... Majora (Whilst he didn't seem weak per se) is a gimmick char... He still looks awesome though! And I do like how Team 4 is nice to eachother. Quitela's clearly a jerk. But I like how Nink comforted Shosa and both of them comforted Majora after their defeats. I also don't think they should be so hard on Shosa for playing dead if Krillin is going to throw his stinkshoe at Majora and Vegita is trying to insult Magetta to make him give up. (And then there's Narirama attacking opponents offguard, no one really plays all that fair.)
As for Bergamo as G.o.D. Yeah, that would be sad with his brothers, but I DO think he'd be a good guy for the job, being able to do what needs to be done without abusing his power. Sidra seemed to NICE for his job and since Roh's an idiot I say give him Roh's job. (Also would be interesting to see a Kai that's not one of them Kai elves.)

This is how I saw them in my mind. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24273657/
Not as bad guys, but as brothers who grew up relying on each other.
Yeah I agree, Sidra would have made a better kai. I can only hope that the resolution of the tournament of power brings them back. Either by finding out they weren't actually erased or by having them returned by the super dragonballs. Until that happens I will never forgive Toei. 😤
