Serpent hounds are beasts that live in the rain forests of Firr, so very few encounters with them have been recorded by outlanders. They're known from their long bodies similar to that of snakes or even dragons and their glowing innards that can be faintly seen glowing through the thinner skin of their underbelly. The glow is said to be due to the highly acidic substance that courses through their veins, which can also be found in their saliva. The liquid is very corrosive and it's assumed that it's used to melt their prey into a more easily swallowed mush.
