I'm posting this both as a teaser and because I'm irritated with AutoDesk Sketchbook Pro.
Right now, I don't have a computer, which limits what I can draw and how I draw. All my recent art has been on my phone, on the app that came with it (it's a Galaxy Note 3). I"d really love to work on some of my other stuff, but there's certain stuff that I can't do on this app. There's only so much RAM in the phone, so there's only so many layers it can handle. And drawing on a little screen can be really tough for some of the stuff I want to do.
I use AutoDesk stuff all day, so I figured this app would be great, like their other programs.
And it hasn't disappointed me, except that the quality when I export is garbage. This is the quality I draw at, and I was mortified when my pretty, clean lines on my last submission got all funked up in the conversion. I can't lie...since the quality suffers like it does, I'm spending much less time focusing on making everything ultra-sharp. It's not going to matter.
At any rate, this is part of a panel in the next sheet. I got part way through the base coloring, and figured I'd give out an early glimpse. Enjoy the teaser.
And I'll do what I can with what I can, I guess. It's still a lot better than pen and paper.
