Nice! What type of mouse is this?

He evolved from a dormouse with repeated drawing and experimentation over a few years and a couple relationships. Face markings of a tanuki, back stipes of a meerkat, prehensile tail of a possum (covered in thick fur like a skunk's in the winter and naked in the summer), sometimes wings of a bat and a forward-facing toon pouch.

I usually just call him a mouse out of convenience - he's more aptly described as a "mascot", where the parts are chosen based on cuteness (like how Pikachu doesn't much resemble a mouse and Moogles don't look too much like moles). "Mascot" also has meanings including "fairy friend", "sorcerer's helper", and "good luck charm"
