I FINALLY got a ref for Chaos! I love it! Well, I got this a while ago, but hey! x3 I got this ref from the wonderful Jakkilyn, I don't know if she has a furaffinity account but if she does I'll definitely edit this and include her profile.

This is Chaos! He may look cute and small.. Well.. He is.. But he's powerful! He's a 5' tall kitty who's a master mage, and a master marksman. He's nearly immortal, born from two master mages who fell shortly after his birth in the Tribal Wars of Dateathra, a world which is now long destroyed, he has traveled many worlds, many universes, until he made his home on Earth in the year 1996. Throughout the hundreds of thousands of years he's been traveling the universes, he's perfected his craft of magic, a skill he was born with, and perfected his archery skills, which he learned only a few years after being born back in Dateathra.
However, adjusting to life on Earth was tough. There's no need for magic, it's actually frowned upon, something that shouldn't exist. He became secluded, living the first 15 years underground, surviving off the survival skills he learned in previous worlds, while learning how to hide his magic from the world. Since then, he emerged from his den undergound, and tried to become a part of a society in which he didn't exist. He tried finding a job, finding a house, and making friends.
Living underground for 15 years made him shy, he didn't know how to interact with people, until he met a Red Panda a year later. They became best friends. Chaos trusted him enough to tell his past, about his powers, and the Red Panda trusted Chaos. They had- have- a meaningful relationship, still to this day. Since then, he's made a lot of friends, opened up about himself, shown people his true self, that which being that he's caring, he's silly, he's shy. He's a nice kitty, too, always trying to help people in need, even if he needs help himself.
He still plays with magic, but not the dangerous stuff. His main areas of focus are ice and fire magic, and shapeshifting. He loves making ice sculptures for those he loves (top right corner), and does it with a smile (and blush, of course!). He also likes using his fire magic to help keep people warm, whether it be starting a fire in a fireplace, or warming up his body temperature during cuddles. His shapeshifting comes in handy mostly when he's trying to be a silly cat. He rarely changes himself, but he likes to change little things around the house, like the table looking different, or the lights flickering on and off (shifting the shape of the light switch o.O). But the most he's used out of it on himself was to change his tail. He was bored with a normal skinny kitty tail, he wanted something more fun! So he let it grow. And grow... And grow. And grow. Now, his tail stays at 15' long, and 4 feet thick! And he loves it! It's his favorite part about himself, he takes so much care of that tail, taking two hours out of his day every day to groom and wash just his tail. And it shows. The tail is very soft to the touch, softer than anything in the world! It's also smooth, there are never any knots, despite how fluffy it is.
He also changed his ears, he let them grow! Although he does get mistaken for a fox a lot.. He's not a fox he's a cat! x3
His most defining feature has to be his two tattoos. They are the source of all his powers. At first they were just two spirals on his chest. But as he lived his life, they transformed into the two things he loves the most. Back in Dateathra, music was a big part in Chaos' life. Since he didn't have proper parents (which he knew, because he was raised i a wolf clan), he felt alone. He was the one who invented music (in Dateathra, at least). He picked up two clay pots, and noticed how they sounded different if you tap them. So he kept experimenting, doing only that when he wasn't practicing magic, or going to his mandatory, 3 hour a day archery practice. In a matter of weeks, he created the first "keyboard" out of the clay pots, and performed songs that he created himself. After 18 years passed, he was finally able to go out into the world, and he thought nothing else other than teach people this new art he created. He started traveling Dateathra, making musical pieces on the papyrus paper they had, and created the music language. Once he started teaching his craft, the symbol turned into one of the music notes he created. The music note symbol holds the majority of his powers.
The second symbol stayed a spiral for ages. After the fall of Dateathra, Chaos would travel to multiple worlds. His favorite world was a Pokemon world. It wasn't THE Pokemon world, it was one where all Pokemon could speak. They were never competitions to see who's the strongest trainer, there was never any evil groups that wanted to capture all the Pokemon. Since the Pokemon could speak and have feelings of their own, everything was very diplomatic. Of course there were fights, that stemmed from disagreements, but that rarely happened. Pokemon would still try to get stronger, but not at the expense of hurting another Pokemon. Training would happen between two Pokemon who simulated battle, the one launching attacks at the other, but stopping once the other had enough. It took longer to get more powerful, but no Pokemon ever fainted from battle (besides during actual fights fueled by anger).
Once Chaos arrived in that world, he was confused, had no idea what any of the creatures were. So, like Earth, he stayed hidden. However it didn't take him long to go out of hiding, since all the other creatures had powers too. He didn't need to hide. He quickly became an idol in that world, though, since he was the only "trainer" who had powers. All the Pokemon looked up to him, all the other trainers wanted to be like him. He had friends, he had rivals, he had enemies, people who wanted him dead. But the best friend he's had, he didn't make primarily because of fame. They became friends from something more... Simple. A name. A few days after emerging from hiding, he noticed a creature following him. Instead of being defensive, he simply turned around with a smile, held out his paw, and said "hello, my name is Chaos!". The creature was surprised! Surprised that he was noticed, that the strange being was being so nice, and he was surprised by the name! The creature nervously spoke up "C-Chaos...? T-That's my name too..!" From that moment, the two creatures bonded, cat and Lucario! They did everything together, they were inseparable. After several years, he had to leave the world (for very sad reasons that will be explained in the full story!). The moment he left, the symbol of Lucario with his aura formed from the other symbol on his chest, a lasting reminder of the friendship he shared with the Lucario.
As mentioned earlier, the symbols are the source of all his power. Without them, he his powerless. But they are impossible to remove, they are a part of his body, meaning the only way to get rid of his powers, are to stab a sword through his symbols, which will kill him and all the powers he has (good luck, he's a very powerful foe!). The symbols are important in the use of his magic, they glow whenever he uses a spell. No matter how small, or how big, the symbols will always glow, which could be dangerous sometimes.
Oh, one more thing. He loves cotton candy. Which is why he made his fur taste like it! x3

That's all I have for information about Chaos! I am in the process of writing up a full story, it's 5 pages long so far and he just now got to the wolf tribe that I mentioned earlier! I'm hoping this will be a very long, and intense story! Now, I'm not the best story writer, but I definitely try to be creative. I'll absolutely upload it once I'm done!
