This image I have been working on for a few days off and on. It's a bit of an emotional piece for me. My life has been going pretty crappy lately, and I wanted to express how I felt with my art. Here we have Me, yes, she is a blonde/gold wolf not red. The reason is this:
When you get everything you have ever dreamed of, you quickly come to realize that it isn't exactly as you imagined it. It is a case of the "grass is always greener on the other side"
I showed this through the wolf. She has become the anthro wolf she has always wished she was, but only she didn't come through as the colors she imagined she would be, and quickly she discovered how alone in the world she was, being the only of her kind. She sits curled up under the light of a yellow moon, feeling lost, sad and unsure. What she will do next she does not know, but she is certain she will make it through.
The pose was a bit difficult to do, but I think I did it alright.

As much as I feel it's a bit presumptuous of me to wax didactic, you struck on a topic I've thought a lot about over the last year or two.
In getting what you want, you often gain perspective on the downside as well as the up. The trick is figuring out how to make where you're at work for you anyways. I've known a lot of people who have wasted far too much of their lives chasing after greener grass when they should have just mowed the lawn.
Also, I really like the new icon.

Thank you! I'm glad my art has touched on something you relate to. I really struggle to do that, and this particular theme is one I have also been thinking of, but the reality of it is more powerful now than before. My english today seems to suck, bleh. I just wanted to thank you, your comment was great to read.
