Back then Tommy's father was the captain of the city of Ederus, he was well known as a soldier who protected the people around him and his wife a strong women who fought for her children. When the dragon came he stood his ground and tried to kill the best but failed at the cost of his life and his son's too. Only Tommy and his mother survived the attack.
