Mostly that I hear some great music from many of you... and I wonder whether I'll ever compose as well.
Your piano compositions are gorgeous. I doubt I'll ever be as lush as
foxamoore.
I'm exploring what I can find, trying to build something interesting, but I'm not there yet.
It's the cost of being an artist; you know the flaws in your creations intimately.

First, I can sure you: my musics are really simple. I don't have any spectacular talent.
Second, foxamoore has a very (very very very) good software*, and many years of practice and study ( a little more than 10 year, I believe).
Do you ever hear what I usually did last year? I hope you don't. That's ugly, repulsive. But I've kept working. Let your heart speak when you're composing. The rest will follow.

Everybody has some blank period. I'm supposed to create a duet for
djahai and me; for a few weeks. And I don't made any step; might backsteps...
It's the cost of being an artist; you know the flaws in your creations intimately.
That's exactly why I tell you my musics are not so good.
* I don't remember the name of his software, but... What's your?

FL Studio ^^;; sometimes I come up with a little melody on my guitar or bass and throw it on, and other times I just start off randomly and roll with it XD I can only improv on fretted string instruments ^^;;
Once I get some better software, though, I'mma start re-creating all my best songs with real instruments :3

If you want to write something dissonant -- then do it.
I used a very, very strict version of the twelve-tone method to create this piece. (I used no transposition, no inversion, and no retrograde.) You might want something less strict.

lol yeah, I tend to just go with what sounds nice right after the last note =P I'd prolly tear my hair out with a dissonant piece, simply cuz the sound of it would tear me apart, knowing I'm the one writing it x.x I mean, I dont mind hearing it as long as I'm not the one writing it XD
That barely qualifies as dissonant! Discordant, perhaps, but with such a firmly outlined rhythmic pattern it's clearly aiming to pull your senses apart. Almost the musical equivalent of a skilled dancer who's had a few and been pulled over by the cops. Even when drunk he can still manage to walk a straight line just by skill alone, but ooooh, how he weaves all over the place doing it... O_o
