Caves and Critters - Chapter 10 Page 7
Dun dun DUUUUUUNNNN
Okay so this isn’t that much of a dramatic reveal, but I’ve had more than a few moments in the past where things I thought were adequately explained still left people confused, so I figured I’d take the direct and blunt approach with this one. :D

Huh, I wonder if Marcel is the one responsible for Bahrith? They do imply that it was either his responsibility to deal with the great spirits or that he took initiative on that front, and the fall of the city (which in part including a level of binding on the spirit) led to backs turned against another. The spirits seem to wish to deal with "the beast", the beast wiped out gargahs's tribe which was the primary link to a great spirit, and the sourcerers fear the great spirits for they apparently can rival their power. Not sure how many of these are connections or coincidental.
