Here we have the final member of the three Zergling Nincada mobs in my Kindred Legacy Minecraft modification. "Crackling" is a slang term given by StarCraft player to Zerglings upgraded with a late game upgrade called Adrenal Glands. This ups their attack speed as if they were on Crack Cocaine.

In Kindred Legacy, there isn't much for attack speed but I did up the mobs attack power and movement speed over the regular Zergling Nincadas. They also have a small jump like Spiders giving them great gap closing capabilities but not as much of a jump as the Raptors do. Their lethality is so significant that I decided it was best to give them a very unique, special texture to make them easy to spot when they do show up under a Full Moon.

In the yet to be released 1.2 version of the mod, they drop an item called Spice Melange (to play on the drug name reference). This item can be fed to your Poketamable to put them in a berserk state. Their attack power goes up but they attack any enemies in the area on their own and they can see through walls for the duration.
