Minor critique if I may offer it, in this case for the rifle: there is no room, with the extensible stock there, for the bolt to travel rearward so as to pick up another round from the magazine.

I wouldn't say that. Honestly, the rest of it is quite nice. A small bit of research into firearms, figure 20 - 30 minutes' worth of time, will acquaint you sufficiently to draw them with ease and aplomb. another hour past, and you'll have a more than decent working knowledge of them ^_^

And sometimes, just sometimes, an awesome-looking weapon will trump mechanical accuracy! ^_^
