(ARE WE BLIND, DEPLOY THE FULL SCREEN!)
Hello and all! Spino here with a traditional art piece I drew~
I bring you, the 3.5 foot long, 1/2 foot wide (E)MPS-7, or Pulser Pistol for short. This is a magentic accelerated burst-fire Handgun, that fires Energized Kinetic rounds or slugs. Unlike typical Terran handgun or machine pistols, the Pulser is a break-action weapon, only requiring a new ammunition pack, and resealing said weapon. To power this gauss pistol, it possesses a battery located in ventral section of the pistol.
To the left and right aft sides of the weapon, are heat vents to allow the weapon's inner machinisms to cool down after every shot, as a precaution, especially since the weapon is a burst weapon rather than semi-automatic. Next to the rear vents, lies a latch-button that will open up that section of the pistol for maintenance.
Along with the battery, resides a a hand grip for your free hand, should the user wish to hold or fire the weapon two-handed, similarly to an SMG. In addition, the secondary grip also shields most of the battery tube.
As for the pistol grip, it posesses a trigger guard, as well as a finger guard for spare appendages, in case the soldier moves for a pistol or bash -these weapons are bulky and heavy, making great clubs if need be.
Dorsal wise, one can slide a scope attachment if desired, however the standard manufactured MPS comes with plain iron sights. The Pulser is utilized by every single VOCOM Operative, Military Police, Peacekeeper and so forth; a great substitute if a Pulse Rifle isn't on hand.
Also, the weapon safety button is somewhat small, located near the vents, that way a warrior won't unintentionally click the safety on or off, not to mention the safety is on either side of the pistol, but will activate regardless of where it was clicked, making his weapon ambidextrous for almost any situation.
I also wanted to have the Enclave/USDR insignia embellished on the chassis, since these are mass produced.
Recently I've fallen deeply in love with Dieselpunk, this genre inspired my design of the weapon; also take note, everything I create and think of will from now on be mostly Dieselpunk in nature and design.
Credit goes to me
