Just a quick drawing of Martita's ride, a cute little yellow British Wonder. It came out decently, especially since I just drew the thing out of my memory, with no reference pictures or models. And I drew it yellow 'cause, you know, not ALL the classic Minis were green and had a white roof.

Cool!
Reminds me of the yellow Mini 'starring' in the New Zealand road movie "Goodbye Pork Pie". But can Martita drive her Mini into a moving goods van on a freight train?

Well, cars (and specially vehicles with lots of personality on their design) have a sort of 'anatomy' that requires a bit of observation to get right. After a little, it kinda 'comes out' automatically. Like drawing a fox or a cow, after a little, you automatically assume proportions, special marks and stuff like that.
Some people wonder why I've got this fixation with European compact cars from the 60s. And that's 'cause they're relatively 'easy' to tell apart from others.

I can't draw cars to save my life. You seem to slap them together like legos. I suppose knowing your history and love of automobiles does help to recall them a lot better.
I routinely lose my own transportation in a parkinglot. They all just look alike, with the exception of color. And there's so many dark red cars out there...
