Terrie's cover for the unreleased HAVOC # 10. One of her best, IMHO.

Another avenue to ponder is publishing iPhone comics. I've been happily picking up each issue of Proof as it's come out, as well as Hexed and Neozoic, with a few more first issues (often released free, to get people hooked on the rest of the series, though there's obviously no obligation) to actually get around to reading. ^_^;
The caveat is that it may take a few released issues to actually see revenue, depending on the pricing chosen (options are free and $x.99, up to a maximum of $999.99; with the new OS 3.0, purchases are also possible within the application, but only for paid apps), as they impose a minimum payout of $250. They take a 30% cut to cover the Store overhead, card processing, and all that jazz, and then you're able to make it available on any or all of the iTunes Stores worldwide, as preferred.
The upside, of course, is the minimal investment required - AIUI, the iComic reader is open source, so it's possible to wrap an issue (or collection) in that, or go through an outfit like iVerse Media. 'Course, all that assumes no contractual conflicts with existing publishers.
(I haven't bought paper comics in a few years. Electronic formats are so much more convenient, and don't need to be left mouldering in storage units for indeterminate lengths of time, or hefted around during moves.. all that gets very old)
Anyway, something to ponder, perhaps. ^_^
