When you are just starting out as a privateer/pirate you don't have dosh to spare for all those fancy things like holographic map displays, or stand up chart walls... or navigators! At first Stack was thrilled at the idea of poring over charts on a table like they did in the tales she had heard in her youth. However, after a few real experiences she quickly came to find out she was just not built for such things... and likely some of her first profits would be spent on a standing chart wall. If nothing else... at least the table wasn't touch sensitive, though...
