This drawing is for the Pokemon-oc-world (http://pokemon-oc-world.deviantart.com/) summer event, in which we had to draw our own trainers with their favorite Pokémon. In my case, I drew Absol, which is my favorite Pokémon.

I wanted to improve many things. First of all, the background took me a long time to get right, but it's full of detail and is really colorful. There's also the characters walking, which took me a few tries, and even then the final result is far from perfect, but I like it.

And last, Absol's anatomy. He's not a popular Pokémon, and it's hard to find good references; I based their anatomy using references and tutorials for dogs, which are pretty damn close.

All in all, please enjoy this drawing as much as I did working on it!
