The mission patch used for the Horizons 1 Mission. The top of the patch has a pic of Mars with a blue 1 in the middle, and says "Horizons Mission" in white lettering and on the bottom says "In Search of Hope Beyond Our Home" in black lettering.

Mk.XX (20) CDF Battle Armor
Design in the late 1970's the Mk.XX Battle Armor was designed to help protect off planet colonies from internal and external threats and the main firefight protective armor of the CDF. The factory livery paint job shows the branch of service the armor belongs to
Gloss White: CADA
Flat Green: CDA
Flat Blue: CDN

When the torso is Gloss Yellow that represents that the wearer is an engineer withs the limbs set to the corresponding colors above.
On the shoulders are two emblems, on the left shoulder is the branch emblem with the unit underneath and on the right is the Mai'No'Tian Flag Roundel.

The armors "shell" is made of a lightweight classified material that's reinforced with aluminum and a thin layer of chromium just under the paint to help reflect and protect from photonic energy weapons (ie lasers) and has an effective thickness (of face-hardened steel) of 10mm at the thinnest on the back of the hands to 80mm on the torso. The armor consists of three individual layers, the underlayer which is a fabric made of Carbon Nanotubes reinforced with kevlar, the shell, and flexible "sleeves" that lock onto the shell like an astronaut's glove with a twist-and-lock-system and also two internal channels on the inside of the shell pieces(one on oppisite sides), the sleeves are made of the material combination as the underlayer. The only shell parts that are on the underlayer itself are the parts on the back of the glove and the knee protector. The Helmet has two small cameras between the eyes that are angled correctly to be displayed on the HUD to the user, these cams can show the user full color, black & white, thermal and infrared all with 1-10 zoom, the helmet comes off by the lower "jaw" lowering and spreading to let the users head enough room to take off. The chest has on the right the users name and rank while the left has the CDF Badge. On this model made for a woman you can't see it but there is a separate upper and lower torso pieces put together. The snout has a vent on either side that can be open for normal breathing or closed to be air tight with a small oxygen recirculation system within the helmet that can provide up to an hours worth of air at high respiration rates. With all the pieces on, the suit can also be used as an EV suit for shallow depth diving or outside ship maintenance to a number of other uses, which is also why the boots can be toggled to be magnetized or not. The legs provide four holsters for two knives, two pistols or any combo. The entire suit has a mass of 50-52 kilograms depending on the users size.

CDF Off-Duty Top
This shirt is provided for every member of the CDF and also represents their branch of service. The right shoulder has the Mai'No'Tian Flag Roundel and on the right their branch of service emblem. With the CDF Badge on the left pectoral with the motto on the Badge. "Death Before Oppression".
