I finally posted this art that RelaxingDragon gifted me. I do love the mood but for some reason I've been dragging my feet. Your work is great and I now consider it one of the better pieces of my character in that style and space, along with another gift he made me done by Lundi.
I am an outdoors guy and a climber, and this fits right in, even with the mixed moods you managed to portray.
So... Thank you! :3

so uh.
sorry about the late response; I've been sitting on this comment in my inbox for awhile because I'd wanted to write up an appropriate reply for you.
firstly, I'm really, really glad you enjoy the piece- it's one that I worked on a lot during a really, really trying period of my life. so there's a lot of personal emotion that gets portrayed in this and reading the description on your submission, I'm really glad that I could capture a relateable feeling.
for me, exploration and nature has always been the utmost escape and my way of reconnecting with not only myself, but the world around me. if anything, getting the opportunity to stop and watch that golden hour, so quick, and so fleeting, is an utmost form of feeling- as much as I wish it would last forever, it doesn't, because even the sun has to follow the natural balance of life.
tossed a watch your way- you take some great photos and it looks like you have some awesome adventures. I run a slowly updated photo/travel blog here: http://radiotj.tumblr.com/ maybe you'll find some things that resonate with you as well.
take care!
