Its sad what happened to them, this arc has made it really hard to invest in Dragon Ball Super.
I find Zeno worse then Frieza. I really hoping it some kind of prank...so many lives gone just like that...women and children, and Zeno just does it so carefree.
They were just fighting for their survival, regardless of their behavior does not mean they were without change. They have soon compassion for each other, which is more then Frieza has for anyone.
Sad part is so many other Universe will share that fate.
Nicely job on them, hopefully they make some appearances in future titles.
I find Zeno worse then Frieza. I really hoping it some kind of prank...so many lives gone just like that...women and children, and Zeno just does it so carefree.

I think it's interesting how many people actually think they might not be coming back.
Given the franchise track record of wishing everyone back, and the fact the story definitely doesn't treat the erasure of the universes as acceptable (Even Liquir boasting about his superior non-participating universe looked pretty sick when U9 actually was wiped out.), and then there's Goku's angry look at the Chief Angel... Really... I think they will be restored. It's just a matter of how it'll happen.
Bergamo to me seems to have a character arc that isn't finished yet. He tried to get Zeno (Who is basically Anthony Fremont.) not to erase the universes and vowed to preserve his universe. I think on his return he might be given a chance to help his universe, by becoming it's new G.o.D. (Sidra is to compassionate but that would make HIM ideal for Roh's job... and Roh is an idiot so he can just be their manservant.)
I also think the fact there are two Zeno's mean there's two things that can happen... Either shit hits the fan and the two Zeno's stalemate eachother... ooor... 'kill the spare' is going to happen. Since it's been established Zeno can't fight, only erase. (And should something show up he can't erase...) I think one of those Zeno's might die (And teach the remaining Zeno the meaning of death in the aftermath.) (Allowing the universes to be restored without a chance of Zeno just erasing them again.)
Now what could Zeno not erase? Possibly the angels (Since they aren't erased in general) so it could be the Chief Angel that's the main villain... Or possibly something that survived from the six previously destroyed universes (And that survived erasure.) Which if so might just be that mystery mortal that's stronger then Beerus. (And if so I suspect that one would be on Quitela's team either as one of the hidden warriors, or pretending to be that blue Pokemon. (Hence why Quitela seems pretty relaxed compared to the other G.o.D's) Probably one of those two.
I mean... Jiren's not gonna be the main antagonist. The guy's a hero in his own universe. And we've all seen this story. New hero thinks the protagonist is a villain (check). Hero fights hero, hero realizes other hero is not a villain, they both team up against the real villain. Jiren'll have his big fight with Goku... But that won't be the end of the tourney.
Freeza's probably around for backstabbery at a crucial point. (With the ulterior motives of making the big wish himself of course.)

Whether it was genuine concern or just a way to get all gods to hate Goku, Bergamo asked the Zeno's not to erase any universes ffs, while Goku barely cared about his own damn universe. I found it very heartwarming how Basil and Lavenda cared so much about their older brother.
I had recently developed a crush on them when I found out they fucking disappeared. </3 I really hope they're brought back to existence in the future.

Lol, you sound like me. I accidently stumbled across these guys while looking for art of Beerus, and they got me reinvested in the series. Since then I've been binge-watching it. But man am I not looking forward to universe 9's erasure. That's gonna be rough. Also really hope to see Bergamo again in the future. Would be really cool to see him training with Goku trying to get his strength up.
