Between commissions, while I was waiting for paint to dry, and after-hours, I sort of just... drew this thing on some paper I found. I had absolutely no idea in mind when I started and wasn't really sure just what I was up to during the process, either. Decisions were very immediate.

It's ballpoint and white gel pen on some mystery slate paper.

A really great style in this Hibbary. I love how all the lines flow around the image to keep the eye from getting stuck at one point. Nice touch with the gel pen!

VERY COOL! I have a hard time just letting myself go on a picture. I do however never know where a picture is going untill I get there (with rare exception). Great peice!

I guess, when you have magical hands and skills you just have them. period.
The horses give away kind of a unhealthy and dead-ish feeling, yet the picture itself is lively.
I guess they don't eat too many carrots, do they?

I've loved all the work I've seen you post so far but there's something about the design of the heads of these horses that I really dig. This is how the steeds the Nazgul rode in Fellowship of the Ring should have looked.

I can't stop staring at this. The sense of movement in this is wonderful. It's delightfully creepy. I'm amazed that you can do something like this with ballpoint on the fly and having it come out this good.
