Cave paintings depicting prehistoric dragons.
The true nature of the paper is sadly very reduced by the scan. The original has a very textured surface as well as salt crystals growing on and in the fibers of the paper, giving it an extremely stone-like quality.
It will probably be in the Anthrocon art show. If you're there, please stop by and take a look :3
Also, if you think this is too detailed or too accurate for cave paintings, you really ought to take a closer look at the real thing. Prehistoric man's renderings of animals were studied and beautiful. I like the cave lions of Grotte Chauvet especially.

.............. the truth is...... it keeps changing. >_< I'm afraid... I might have to put a note on it that it needs to go somewhere dry. For some reason salt attracts moisture. When our humidity gets up above 80% the paper just goes sopping wet and the salt crystals disappear, reforming in a different pattern when it dries again.
The markings stay the same though.
