Last in my dump of poorly-known dubious theropods is a mysterious basal Ornithomimosaur called "Sanchusaurus." It is known only an isolated sacrum found in Japan, which came from an animal similar in size to Ornithomimus, but probably more closely related to the basal Ornithomimosaurs found on the mainland of Asia. No material has been referred to the genus since, and the name itself isn't even formal-- it was named accidentally in a Japanese pamphlet on dinosaur remains, and not discovered until someone later realized that a) Sanchusaurus wasn't a real dinosaur, and b) the bone that the name referred to didn't appear to belong to any known dinosaur either.
As with most of these crappy dinosaur remains, I might be the only person ever to draw this animal. I take a certain pride in that.
