A spirit tiger, forming out of the ether.
Painted all in oil on a weird, hand-dyed sheet of paper I've been hoarding for ages. I use a loooooooot of thinner, and so it comes out looking like watercolor in some places. But no, it's oil :3
I'm still playing around with tension between fully rendered vs. flat in the treatment of the figure. And color, as always. I'm slowly getting better, I think.
And I may fool with it yet :F I think I see some spots I want to dicker around with already.
Prints are available for $10. It will be at the anthrocon art show :3

your water color techiniques have gotten better-I would use them like ink if you could-make more vibrant colors. :) that's how I use them...have you considered using better paper?
Sorry-fellow water color artist. I just started using process white on brown paper with mine and it's FABULOUS...
