The Demons Of Mental Illness ~
I was holding off uploading this, but in wake of the death of Linkin Park singer, Chester Bennington, I thought this appropriate.
As someone who struggles with severe mental illness, I was shocked to learn he also had his own demons. But, in some way, we all have our demons. It varies in intensity from person to person, how they can handle it, how it affects them.
I know what it is like to be at the point where all the monsters are snarling at you to end it all, i've been there on many occasions. Suicide and an 'off switch' is what I think of on a daily basis.
What drove Chester to his ultimate end, we'll never know exactly. But feeling suicidal is no joke, if you are feeling suicidal, please talk it out, please seek help before the monsters take over. Please. Depression and mental illness needs to be talked about more, needs to be opened up and discussed as more of a serious thing.
