I hate it here.

Sure, I'm a proud soldier of the Fifty-Fourth Martial State, and sure enough, there's elements of the 3rd Legion from Kar Maraias. But we've been stuck here for the past month after the Northerners cut us off, holding on to this worthless railway hub until command decides we're worth saving. Until then, we're to hold the line and await relief. If we fail, the entire K/I thrust over the Danar goes belly up.

It's not even that I'm stuck in a pocket on enemy territory, waiting for the NorCoal to come knocking. It's the food. "Carefully balanced for optimal nutrition" means it tastes like shit and looks like shit when you heat it up.

Since we shit in the same cans, it makes mealtime a fucking gamble.
