I really need to go back there. Only time I was there was to see Dark Knight in IMAX and the main musuem was closed so could only go as far as the initial walk way just before the SR-71.

Well we went there for the IMAX. Never even heard of the place otherwise. Then we got in there and realized how awesome it was but it was closer.

Awesome... Now if the Star Trek fans hadn't pushed for this one to be named Enterprise, the name would have gone to a functioning orbiter.

Oh well.

Heh, I know right! I'm surprised that Constitution (the original name) didn't go on to another orbiter, however.

It looks actually very amazing. Wish I could visit a place like that. The shuttle is so big! really doesn't seem that big when you see them in pictures or on film, but it genuinely looks HUGE in this pic. Love it! what an accomplishment in engineering.
