Confuzzled is in a public hotel... there are often children there alongside the confused airline pilots, members of Dire Straits etc. You don't REALLY want the children running into someone wearing a latex zebra catsuit ( http://sofoxcentral.com/photogaller.....29/category/25 ) or a PVC French Maid outfit ( http://sofoxcentral.com/photogaller.....76/category/25 ).

The difficulty is where to draw the line, and the gloves were edge-case enough that they didn't come to an immediate decision whether they were allowable.

I do suspect that it was more a slippery-slope effect. To be sure, I wasn't originally intending to wear them, but having seen other people wearing far worse, I figured 'what the hell'. I can easily imagine that other people went 'Oh, that fox guy's got PVC gloves, maybe I can wear PVC leggings...' or something.

Either way, the 'con said "please don't" so I'm not going to in future :3

EDIT: I didn't get complaints about the boots, so I'm going to take those. However I'll probably continue to bring Harley-style boots as a backup, just in case.

The gloves and boots are not even outright sexual. I honestly feel the con is overreacting bigtime over that, because that's a far cry from wearing a full catsuit. I mean you look hot in it so I'm biased, but I still think arm length latex is not sexual enough to complain about.

Ever since the drama about rainfurrest it feels like cons are getting way too sensitive about suit types.

I'm with Saerro on this one, gloves and boots are just... gloves and boots. The gloves do look a bit better in this shot.
