Very interesting drawing. Irony of transforming mute girl into creature famous for it voice on the other hand it fits with "The Little Mermaid". It is obvious that amulet is transforming her but transformation into doll started after she broke necklace. Second part of transformation was punishment for this or it was it purpose from the beginning and her action head no meaning?
