And thus, Ends the Fraternity… and the third god is revealed…
I told ya ya'll hate me for this… Now we're going to be going into a new arc back at Chick-N-Lots for a while as I want to expand on a couple of other characters who should be included in the main storyline. Especially after… well… he's getting dangerously close. Plus, I even thought of a creative way to go back to this side of the story. Yeah me! :D
Until then… deal with it.
Okay, seriously though. I did this because, it makes more sense storywise. I promise. Kindel is Evil. But instead of last minute explinations explaining how he was evil (thus deserving of his punishment)… well, this is a comic. "Show, don't Tell." If he's punished now, then most people wont understand why. Also, Patty is the main character here too, you know? He should be allowed to play at least one game…
Any who, Yes, I realize how pissed you all are. I did keep heavily hinting that Kindel lost afterall. You should learn to take what I say with a grain of salt. Then again
Gah! Moving on. So since I realized it weeks ago, I have also made the perfect representation of all of you for Wednesday's comic. Until then apreciate the reference from the title alone… given the words are in the wrong order…

You gave Kindel literal Devil Horns before and scheming like a villain from Inspector Gadget. Automatically evil.
I know you said Kindel is a guy, but I am totally not convinced now! If I had become a freaking god, I would have such a Hard On that that puny cloth wouldn't hide it.
Also, Kindel seemed to have lost a leg in the transition.

I know, but anyone could do that. Heck, I do that sometimes. And I'm a "Cutie Hero" good guy.
Well, I did also say that it wouldn't matter after this transformation. He's also now as tall as Anubis Jr. and has a very prominent adam's apple. Not to mention Massive Pecks like… like…Jane Tricker… how appropriately named… (she scares me…)
And to answer both of the "body part issues", it's a perspective thing. I really did make a "blue art" with all of his body parts in the right places, but the flowing cloth covered them both up… how convenient…
Btw… the wind isn't holding up the cloth that high.
Okay, seriously stop provoking this side of me…

Well, I've created a lot of things, (I mean I had a peacock god and flea god too) but clearly someone had to do it. Rule 35: If it doesn't exist, you must make it.
Also, He prefers the term "Divine Gerbillinae American".
But seriously, I'm sure he has a real title that reflects his personality, interests, and abilities.

Short answer: To quote a famous Disney villian, "You'd be surprised what you can live through."
Long answer:
Just because Kindel won doesn't mean that Junior had to make granting his wish "a pleasant experience" for Kindel. And boy the thing Kindel had to live through. I mean both Momochi and Trace had a relatively painless transformation, but Kindel… it's like going through all the major body building work outs all at once with no rest (and then some). Although the pain sort of stops when it's over, there is something else that Junior did to make it more painful and this wish more regretful for Kindel.

Yes, that was (at least in part) my goal all along. Although, I kind of wanted more of a "I accidentally made a wish for you to be my slave forever" kind of thing, I think this would be a much more dramatic way to go about it.
And Technically yes. Both players followed the rules that were set down, just becasue Kindel knew how to win is not really against the rules either. Kind of like counting cards or not playing with a full deck. Even Chess can be a "fixed game", but Nim was never really about skill or luck, but intellegence.

Mind games + taking the number you need to keep the remaining number of cards after your turn odd? I went back to the game strip to count out the cards...
Though the above wouldn't work if you wound up with 3 at the end after your turn. The other player would know what to do with THAT...

Honestly, Kindel probably took the bigger gamble here. One miscounted card and he would of lost. One breeze from a wind knocking cards "off the table" could have spoiled it. Heck, I think he even forgot to mention that you're not allowed to put cards back or… gah! I can't keep this up anymore…
Okay, fine! You win! I'll admitt it! I had written myself into a corner. The comic was never meant to be taken quite this seriously.
If it makes you feel better, Patty will beat him at his own game when the time comes. I've made no secret about that much.
