Weight gain short story, Shadow belongs to his rightful owner, Otto the cheetah belongs to me!
“Shadow, I’m home!” Otto called out as he entered the second story apartment. He found the canine sitting in the kitchen, helping himself to a box of chocolate chip cookies.
Shadow looked up and smiled as the cheetah walked in. “Hey, Otto.”
Otto placed his grocery bags on the kitchen table before he came up next to Shadow’s chair. The cheetah grinned and gently pinched a bit of fat on Shadow’s side. When they had first met a few months ago, the canine had been quite slim. “All those snacks are really adding up, huh?”
“Thanks to you and your delicious cooking, Otto!” Shadow beamed.
“Aw c’mon, I’m not that good a cook!” Otto chuckled to himself as he unpacked the groceries. “I’m making chicken and potatoes for tonight’s dinner, sound good?”
“Yeah!”
Shadow sat and watched as Otto seasoned and baked the chicken, boiled potatoes, and cooked fresh vegetables. When it was all prepared, Otto put a batch of brownies in the oven for dessert.
Otto brought the plate to the table and placed them in front of Shadow before he sat down next to the canine. They chatted lightly as they ate, with Otto encouraging Shadow to grab seconds and thirds until the food was gone. Afterwards, Otto took out the warm brownies and fed them all to Shadow.

As the weeks went on, Otto continued to treat Shadow to large, home cooked meals or treats when they went into the city. Otto gave him candy and popcorn and soda at the movies, cream-filled donuts at the bakery, and soft pretzels and lemonade when they went shopping at the mall. Soon, Shadow had to go shopping for larger clothes after his fluffy belly had started to peek out beneath his tight shirts and the buttons on his pairs of pants had started to pop off. As a reward after the shopping trip, Otto took him out for ice cream.
When they got home, Shadow sat on the couch in the living room to watch TV with Otto.
“Did you weigh yourself this morning?” Otto asked during a commercial break. He was gently playing with the soft new rolls of fat on Shadow’s stomach.
“Yeah. I weigh 237.” Shadow replied, smiling contently as Otto played with his belly.
Otto beamed. “Impressive! When I met you, you weighed about 170, right?”
“Yep.”
“Well,” Otto hummed in delight as he kneaded his paws into the canine’s belly. “We’ll need to celebrate when you hit 300!”
-
With three hearty meals a day and snacks in between on top of weekend trips to sweet shops, Shadow hit 300 pounds by the time summer rolled around. To celebrate, Otto baked a huge triple layer chocolate cake with chocolate chips inside and chocolate icing and strawberries on top. After another hearty dinner, Otto brought the cake to the table and sat down right next to Shadow, cutting a generous slice of cake for him. He rubbed the canine’s belly as he fed him the cake with his paws, getting chocolate in the fur around his muzzle.
After the last bite, Shadow opened his mouth for more and Otto went on cutting him slices and feeding him the rich cake until the whole thing was gone. Then, they retired to the living room and sat together on the couch.
“You’re getting so big and fluffy now~” Otto cooed as he rubbed Shadow’s belly.
“All thanks to you.” Shadow chuckled.
“And you’re only going to get bigger from here, right?”
“You know it!”
Otto looked overjoyed as he stretched out and placed his paws back on top of the canine’s stomach. He softly played with Shadow’s fat rolls until he fell asleep on top of his belly.
