Slowking is the species, it has nothing to do with gender.

Normally I'd probably agree that it's unimportant, but most furries aren't 'normal' animals of the species their character resembles. Yet they're still a fox, wolf, tiger, etc.

Slowking is no different. It's their species name. Think of it like a female Kingfisher. It's not a Queenfisher. It's a female Kingfisher.

Well, see, the difference may just be, slowqueen doesn't sound weird, queenfisher does. That's just me, and that's just the way Rabid did it. So, meh, it sounds cool.

But it doesn't MATTER if it sounds weird. You don't get to randomly rename a species because it suits you.
It's a SPECIES name. It's like calling a cow and bull two separate species. It's incorrect. It's freaking biology.

It's one thing to call them two Slowking cows. That'd be accurate (assuming "cow" is the female Slowking and not something else).

It's an imaginary species. shut the hell up about the whole thing, it's the way Rabid did it, if you're so bent on it, ignore it.

There's lots of imaginary things. That doesn't mean you just arbitrarily slap titles on it because you flunked biology.

Besides I'm sure Rabid has shrugged it off and said "Oh well, next time I'll just say "Slowking cows" or something instead".

I mean hell I wasn't even CRITICIZING (which is a sin on most of these "post your art" sites), I was just pointing out that Slowqueen (which is in quotes, meaning he probably already knew where I was coming from) was inaccurate just as a joke.

In fact, you're the one who started this whole mess simply by not scrolling past the damn post in the first place.

Just to clarify, the "yous" refer to Pixel. As I said later in the post, Rabid put quotes anyway.
I have no beefs with Rabid. He's a good artist and (from what I've seen) a good person.
