I love this little guy, it's a shame you can't use him in battle. It also sucks that he hasn't shown up since Z! When will he come back??

Zerclea is actually in Z's data as an obtainable monster, as long as you get his DLC relic. The relic was given out in Japan, but for some reason Nintendo never distributed it for the rest of the world. It's really unfortunate.
Syrup hasn't made a return as far as I'm aware, aside from a costume in the followup 3DS game Puzzle & Dragons X.
