Green and White
Do you remember
The gentle green of freshly growing trees
The sea so friendly in the summer breeze?
So beautiful, and lost so long ago.
All things must have their ending.
Do you remember
The gold of autumn glowing in the fields
The whistling wings of geese who fled the snow
And how you yearned to join their quest and go?
All things must have their ending.
Do you remember
The bitter howling storm that dazed with white
That came a carrion crow, a raven foul
To pick your bones ‘til all you had was faith
That all things have their ending?
Do you remember
The gentle green of freshly growing trees?

The combination of the picture, the title, and the comment that goes with it actually almost managed to make me cry. You've done a simply fabulous job with this picture, it actually smacked a spark of inspiration into my mind. Big thanks for supplying inspiration, it's rare for my mind to actually be inspired by something so i think i owe you a hug or something for that one.
