like many folks do, that´s possibly the reason why they often enter them and end up in situations like this^^

I wonder if this was a pharaoh in life whom had a bondage and possibly tickling fetish, maybe fairly merciful and with a sense of humour. The curse could be there to punish intruders but without anything too painful or fatal unless they ended up tickled to death?

I remember there was something similar with a mummy in an early chapter of the Soul Eater manga though that was more straight bondage of two female characters and the mummy being more of a pervert.

could be, or it could be an old egyptian kobold, that was (maybe) called seneferuba or something like that. They were said to controll non living things to make them move^^

unfortunately I am not familliar with Soul Eater, though I have seen some artworks from the manga-ka
