Practiced some cross-hatching shading. As for the picture, a horse and a donkey equal a mule. Nothing much else to say about it really. Except, don't those eyes creep you out? I know it's not the hardcore porn you guys like or the anything of the sorts but, that's okay. It might not get any attention...I say screw it. I'm proud of it.
Also, wow look I have one of those fancy art pens. Just using it for some attempt to frame it, and I'm too lazy to do anything else.

To help further on donkeys.
This is a photo of Lady my little girl less than 12 hours after being born.

As you can see her ears where about as long as her face.

Her head has grown a good amount but her ears are about the same size and are now about half the length of her face.
I did notice that you did do actual research on the difference between horses and donkeys before doing your drawing. A horse and donkey of the same size the donkey would have a larger head and thicker neck but the neck would be shorter in length. Thank you for not drawing a horses head with long ears and calling it a donkey.
