These notebooks are amazing, pockets for adding paper, notes or other items too! Take one of these to a convention and have artists draw on the pad, and keep your references ready in the pockets!
I personally use the one in the image when I'm out and about in my large messenger bag! So handy to have since I usually keep sketchbooks and art supplies with me wherever I go.

Sketchpad version £26.00
You can add larger pads to them for high quality paper but you'd need to alter the back of the pad to fit into the pocket.
