Sakai Jironato, second son of Sakai Matsuo, a swordsmith, dons his father's armor cermonially. From a young age, Jironato showed an adeptness with a blade seldom seen, and later it was attributed to his ambidextrousness. At the age of seventeen, the young gray fox was taken in by the Hazakuro clan as a secondary sword instructor.
New style of coloring for me, and I really like it. The background is compliments of the incredible Hokusai, and has fallen into the public domain, allowing me to use it in this image.
