Just a neat little something dmfalk sent me, showing the cover of my novel CREATURA as it appears on an iPod e-reader, something I've never had the chance to really see for myself. Here's what dmfal had to say:
"H'lo...
I thought you might appreciate this- Some time ago, when I was using a Windows Mobile Pocket PC with Microsoft Reader, I would buy MS Reader eBooks from fictionwise.com....including your Creatura novel. :) Well, I switched over to the Mac Side of the PDA Force, and now have an iPod touch- No MS Reader, but Fictionwise allowed me to switch formats to their eReader format...which I did, including- you guessed it- your novel, Creatura. :)
Below is a screencap from my iPod running eReader, set to the cover of Creatura, as proof that yes, someone HAS your novel in eBook form, and has actually read it. :)

If anyone would like to read the novel in question, just follow the link below:

it is not fictionwise, it is the technology itself
in printing there are 256 levels of gray. the Sony E-reader has around 8 levels of gray, and the Kindle from Amazon only has 16 levels of gray.
but to be fair on ONE charge I have been able to read Patterson's Maximum ride series, Vaughn's kitty and the midnight hour series, and seeral other books, (close to 12 books) and the battery still has some juice

Yes, I know that your situation is more of a hardware situation- I used to live off a 4-level greyscale LCD laptop back in the early '90s... :)
I'm just saying that even Fictionwise isn't immune to limitations- This one they COULD overcome, as they're not only continuously improving the software, but in the format itself, and has yet to live up to the potential of the eReader format. Microsoft's .lit format, an extension of the open ePub format, still has the edge, but isn't cross-platform, where eReader does have that advantage.

It's also still available at Amazon....
(The irony of it all- I have many non-electronic books (around 1000) and an equal number of electronic books, sometimes with some considerable overlap- That is, I'd have both versions of a book. Not so, here- I only have the eBook version I bought from Fictionwise.
I explain more here- which I'll be deleting in a few days, since you did post the screencap here, where it belongs. :)

I am saving this on my new messages and not checking it away because I want to figure out how to do this.
I have a older model Ipaq, a 1910, that might be able to read this book. it only has a one gig capacity SD chip capability, (I can buy bigger, but they won't work) another issue is that I did not get the original disk with it, so I only have what programs I can glean off the net for it. but I would like to read this story off my ipaq, just so I can say I use it for more than solitaire....
