Ohhh! That's cool! I like the more natural low tone colours then. Something low contrast still pops out in a really pleasing way I think.

As for the colors I like what you have! Personally tho, for dark characters, I like for bright contrasting colors (like in your icon 8D) I think like.. 3-D colors would be cool, bright red and blue 8D PERHAPS IDK
