Patrolling The Territory
And here is one of my dragon OC's and his name is Bloody.
I designed him a long time ago and updated it a little in this picture. It took me quite a long time to draw this but it was worth it. The scales took the longest and were the most boring part of the picture. Adding details is always a pain for me because it takes several hours and you do most likely always similar strokes. >.< Therefore I try to work on multiple different pictures at the same time so I have a little variety and more fun.
Character Information:
Name: Bloody
Species: Western Dragon
Elements: Fire and Electricity
Gender: Male
Age: roughly 15.000 years (as old as his volcano)
Personality:
He is very territorial and can't stand if strangers come near his volcano. However he is all in all a friendly dragon and likes the company of others. But his big ego doesn't help him to gain friends and brought him already into some trouble, but once he finds friends he is very loyal and protects them from any danger even if he risks his live.
Bio:
A new volcano came to live and so did he. It's unknown if he had any parents or if it was mother nature itself who gave him his live. Bloody and his volcano are connected to each other.. if the volcano dies he will die too. He leaned it the hard way, early in his live when the volcano was so tiny that it couldn't even be called a "volcano", some strangers tried everything to stop the volcano from breaking out. In that time Bloody felt very sickly but he was to small to be able to protect his live source, luckily the strangers weren't able to destroy it.
As he grew bigger he learned to protect his territory with everything he got and hadn't any trouble with strangers after. In fact he chased everything and everyone away who got too close to his habitat.
However Bloody felt lonely after some time, because no living creature dared to get too close to his volcano. He learned that it's also no option to be alone forever so he decided to step back for a while and let everything be until he found a good balance. Bloody stooped attacking travelers who were just minding their own business and watched them passing by instead, but attacked those who dare to climb his volcano.
