tabrix's girlfriend's house
the dragon one
Their world was once a fairly normally shaped world until the world started to end. Now, unlike in lots of other worlds, where they either found ways to create new worlds at the end, or succumbed to nothing, these fellows fought back hard, and found ways that actually worked 100%. The void was shoved wholly back out of its existence.
It'd just, you know, kind of destroyed most of the world by that point.
Power among the survivors immediately went into the hands of the people who'd been powerful enough to force the void back. Everyone else was basically enslaved, either directly and honestly, or indirectly through religion, money, what-have-you. Let's be fair. The world had been reduced to nearly uninhabitable. There are times when it's justified for someone far more powerful than you to make all the decisions.
The original Savior Lords are all dead, but their descendants rule on in their place. Geargaerge is a descendant of a Savior Lord, and we call those Successor Lords. She's a dragon, and there are more than just her, but she's the most important.
Only around 30,000 people actually live in Geargaerge's domain, but that's fine, since it's hard to sustain big population numbers anyway. There's lots of snake and lizard creatures and some big furry creatures and some long-necked beaked furry creatures, too, that live under her rule. They're pretty expansionist because Geargaerge really, really likes treasure, and power, and owning stuff.
But she's cool, too.
I just.
I just needed to doodle something to give context for myself so i had a clear image in mind I guess you can ignore this

I've sadly only had the chance to play URU
(URU was a blast I love love LOVE the weird underground city and that one garden age where it rains????)
But I've absorbed the other games through Let's Plays and videos and anecdotes and just
Good Setting, Good Concepts
The whole idea of Ages and linkbooks is fascinating to me and I've cribbed it for stuff from time to time
